At Finest Planet, your privacy is respected. Information you give us is for the sole purpose of setting up and billing your account. We have never shared or sold any of our customers personal information, data, web history, etc., and we never will.
Our prices are stable and straightforward. They do not go up after an "introductory period". Contracts are not required. There are no hidden monthly fees, taxes, surcharges, etc. The prices on our website are the exact prices that will be charged.
Price changes are rare, but if our costs rise, we may have to adjust our prices. If our prices do change, all customers will be notified in advance.
30 Day Money Back Guarantee
We do offer a 30 day money back guarantee if you are not happy with our services. Please notify us within that time to get a refund.
To cancel your account, please notify us before your next payment is due. We will issue refund checks for months paid if canceling early. We do not issue refunds for partial months.
We accept monthly credit card or debit card payments, or payments made with check or money order for 3 months, 6 months or by the year. Month to month checks are also ok.
If you sign up online requesting a check/money order payment, we will wait until we receive the payment before your services are set up, unless other arrangements are made.
We have a three month minimum for any account opened. Unless you are closing it because you are not happy with our services, your account needs to be billed for three consecutive months before we can close it. We do not offer a temporary one month service.
Please notify us if anything about your credit card changes. If your card expires, your address changes, if want to use a different credit card number, or anything else that would prevent us from processing your card, please contact us right away to avoid any disruptions in your service. You can use our Changes form for updates.
You will be billed/charged in advance for the upcoming month(s) of service. Billing dates are based on what date your service is activated/installed. This can be adjusted if you let us know.
We will automatically process your credit card each month, on or close to your billing date. We do not process cards every day, so the charge date may vary slightly.
If paying by check, we will email a reminder when payment is due. Please pay promptly to avoid any disruptions in your service. We do require that payment is received within 15 days from your due date or your account may be suspended or charged a late fee. In some cases, there may be a $10 reconnection fee. If your check gets returned due to insufficient funds, you are responsible to reimburse us for any fees incurred.
We reserve the right to charge fees for time consuming assistance with your services, including moving websites, frequently opening and closing services, setting up multiple computers, etc. We will let you know if these fees may occur.
We cannot guarantee that the dialup numbers listed on our website or given to you on the phone will be toll free for Finest Planet customers. Please check with your local phone company (dial 0) to make sure these are local numbers for your calling area. There may be more than one local number available for your area. You as the customer are solely responsible for ensuring that any number you use for dialup access is local and toll free from your dialing location. Finest Planet will not be responsible for any long distance charges you may incur.
Call us any time to talk about technical support issues. At times you may need to leave a message about the problem. We will look into it and return your calls promptly. Some issues may be resolved by reading the setup pages on our website.
Beware of "phishing" emails. These emails ask you to enter your user name and password into a form. Never share your login information with these types of suspicious emails, even if it appears to be coming from Finest Planet. If you have any doubt, please ask us. To avoid receiving email from unsolicited sources, we recommend being very selective about who you share your email address with.
We reserve the right to terminate an account if it is abused in any way. This includes receiving complaints regarding using our Fast Internet or Dialup services to download copyrighted files, using our mail servers to send excessive amounts of email (spam) or other menacing forms of email, using our hosting servers for file mirrors, pornographic sites or any other "bandwidth/cpu intensive sites".
Use of Copyrighted Material
Finest Planet is obligated to comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA). Use of the World Wide Web, FTP, Newsgroups or any other services provided by Finest Planet to transfer copyrighted material in violation of applicable laws is prohibited and may result in termination of your Finest Planet account.
Even though our Internet services are very reliable, there may be brief periods of time when something within or beyond our control may affect our services. For dialup users, we do have backup numbers in most areas that are on different dialup systems. If one number is ever not working, the other should work fine.
Data & Backup
Even though we do regularly back up files on our hosting servers, it is still important to also keep a backup of your files on your own computer and/or backup disk. Upon termination of services, or cancellation of account, customer agrees that Finest Planet has the right to delete all their data, files, or other information that is stored on Finest Planet's servers.
Limitations of Warranty and Assumption of Risk
Customer (you) uses Finest Planet's services at Customer's own risk. Finest Planet shall not be liable for any loss or other damage, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, resulting from any failure to provide service or from any termination of service. This service is provided as is. We are not responsible for hardware or software damage, loss of wages, or any other financial or personal loss resulting from the use of, or inability to use, this service. Any liabilities are strictly limited to the amount of the fee paid for services rendered. Finest Planet shall not be liable for claims of damages made by any third party for any cause whatsoever.
Customer will indemnify and hold Finest Planet harmless of any and all claims, costs, expenses or liability resulting from any damage to Customer's business, service, equipment, network, operations, or reputation resulting from Finest Planet's services.
Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of our Terms of Service.
