Messing
with Linux and a new love for an old guitar has brought me back to the
guitar effects and audio parts of the computer system. I was
fortunate enough to keep an eye out on all the latest linux distros
while "MUSiX" 1.0r3 was
released. Musix can be used along side your current operating
system as a Live CD to try a bounty of music/audio lovers applications!
The great thing about this CD is one does not have to compile or
configure libraries to run many of these apps, the distro has made it
easy by having everything you need right in it.
After
buying the compilation at OSDisc.com, I had a problem with our new mail
person accidently sending it to somewhere-not my house. I emailed sales
at OSDisc, and after going through a basic sec. check, the people at OSDisc.com
were nice enough to send me another copy via 2-day priority without
charging me the extra cost for faster shipping. If you would like

Jumped
ship to Linux after seeing what was supposed to be the next level of
forward progress, named Vista. I haven't been happier. It
takes a
little work to plant the seed, but the fruits keep on getting sweeter.
Words of wisdom: learn Linux now while it's still
early or
buy an Apple.

offer the Firefox browser through downloads of their own products.
Within 2 years of the Firefox 1.0 release, the
free browser has already achieved 15% of the

has a
strong community with online servers and many add-ons. There
are
also tools and scenery editors to create your own sims.
A Max Payne 2 mod called
